The truth is there are basic facts that we need to know about God and ourselves before we can have an encounter with our Creator, our God Almighty.
Firstly, we have to know that God Loves Us. God actually created a good world of peace and wholesome life for everyone of us. God really loves us and He wants us to have a life of peace, joy and hope.(John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”)
Secondly, it is true that humanity has a problem. Every human being is separated from God because of sin. We choose to disobey God and go our own way. This attitude set us apart from God and created a gap between the Creator and us. The separation is actually called Sin. Thus, we are not able of getting to God by ourselves. We must be informed that our efforts of good thoughts and good deeds fail to bridge the said gap. ( Romans 3:23 ” For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”).
But do not be dismayed because God had made a remedy and He has been offering this remedy to you and me. Next fact is that God had offered a way for us to get back to God. As He sees our distress, He sent His only begotten Son to be the bridge that can cross the gap of separation. That is no other than our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ took our sins on Himself, shed His blood, and died in our place. This bridge of life is rooted on both side of the gap, Jesus Christ is both God and man. Thus, He actually provides the way of access between God and man. (John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.”).
Now, you can invite Jesus Christ into your life. This invitation will surelyi lead you to have encounter with Him. You must receive Christ into your heart and life by faith to cross the bridge to God’s Family and to a new life when you prayerfully ask Christ to come in to your life. (John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on His Name”)
An encounter with Jesus is really a very wonderful opportunity that I could not afford to miss. I thought that I had already encountered my Lord Jesus Christ the moment I received Him as my Lord and Savior. I guessed I had changed when I had realized that Jesus was all that I needed. My life started to take the right direction when I had my rebirth many years ago. Yes, I had changed when I was born again. Many things in me and in my life really had altered. My paradigm, lifestyle, attitude toward other person, treatment to nature, interests and everything became better. However, it was not that really easy to keep and maintain the improvement of me. Along the way, I had face various tests and challenges which tried to discourage me to be good and better. So, I hardly reach the best point of this improvement.
An encounter with Jesus was a very wonderful experience that had made me really whole. This happened to me only recently and I am so glad that I had given the chance to encounter my Lord Jesus in the most intimate, profound and personal manner. I had felt His feeling when He was crucified at the Cross wherein I had whispered “Oh, my Lord, why had you create me only to crucify you there?” What He did is really a noteworthy evidence of His great Love for me. His lavish love had brought me into realization that my life is not actually about me but it is all about Him.
An encounter with Jesus had surprisingly affected my way of thinking. This time it changed me greatly within. Before I had such an encounter with my Savior, I was complaining to my partner because I fondly wanted to have a getaway to a far place. My interest was different from his interests. After the encounter, both interests had been made mutual. Thus, our relationship became smoother and sweeter. My heart and mind became more peaceful and still.
There are a lot of things that had happened to me at my encounter with Jesus. I feel so blessed to have known Him this way and I am getting more in love with my Savior and Creator.
Free Yourself From Negative Emotions: Depression And Despair. Many of us have been used to some negative emotions such as depression and despair. Such feelings are caused by the real events in our lives. That is actually the reality of life. Life is not always a moment of joy and triumph. It is called life when we experience both joy and sorrow, triumph and failure.
What does it mean to be depressed? It is state of being down emotionally and weak spiritually. Depression is defined as a common mental disorder that presents with depressed mood, loss of interest or pleasure, feelings of guilt or low self-worth and disturbed sleep. It is hard to lose sleep over many things. Depression is a culprit to lose good health and good looks.
What does it mean to be in despair? It means being hopeless and giving up all expectations. Can you imagine living without hope? Existing without life is nonsense and aimless. It is just like living in a grave. Despair usually puts our health into danger.
Both depression and despair are major emotions that can destroy us if we cannot respond to it in a wise and proper way. It is then an excellent action not to sink into these negative feelings. I believe that all of us have already been in the state of being depressed and despair. No matter how long or short that we had imprisoned to such destructive emotions, that has already been past and it is highly recommended that we need to let the past sleep and let it sleep in the sweet embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ and let us go on into the invincible future with our God. We have seen ourselves taking so hard to be lifted up from these emotions but it is good news that we have a new blessed hope.
Let us keep watching the Lord to do greater things in our lives. Let us confidently rise above these depression and despair and obey the Lord and do the next thing. It is a wise decision not to let the sense of past failure defeat our next step. Get rid of these negative emotions and fly freely with a heart filled with love, joy and peace.

Prepare to meet God anytime anywhere. This is not a warning but an encouragement that we should keep drawing closer to our God. The Word of God always admonishing each person to consider getting ready to meet God and manage life wisely without neglecting the most important theme of daily life. In our everyday routine, let us not miss taking into consideration the thing that matters most everyday - meeting God. It has been said that the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ will be coming the second time around anytime.
That information is always true. It is fact that we should not ignore. We have to prepare ourselves to meet our Creator everyday. With the various rumors of wars around the world, natural and man-caused disasters and global chaos, it is no wonder that Jesus Second Coming will soon take place. Well, whether it be soon or later, the most necessary responsibility that we have to consider is that we are always ready to face Him and assured that He will take us in His Kingdom when He comes again.
Stress management gives a stress-free life everyday. Having a stress-free life everyday is everyone’s business daily. Even if we know a lot of side effects of thinking too much and doing vast activities everyday to the extent that we almost run out of strength and joy, we still cling on stresses and worries. Stress has been part of our daily life. In everything we do, there is always stress in it. Thus, the issue is not really on stress itself but on the way we manage it.
Stress management is a study that deals with managing or handling stress in life. All of people have to deal with it everyday because it has been considered as something that goes with us wherever we go. Managing stress is then a responsibility of every individual. Stress may cause our days to shorten. Managing it well will bring more years in our lives. Stress can make us aged fast while managing it the right way can help us look younger than our age.
Manage stress by simply lifting up to our God every care of our lives. He loves us more than anything else. We matter so much more to Him than anything we think we need to keep living. Thus, let us just cast all of our cares to Him and everything we need will be provided. Get wisdom from the Word of God or the Bible before we do anything in a day and our day will end up great. Learn to lean on God and believe that all things are possible unto Him. Then, learn to laugh more but laugh with faith that God is in charge.
Finding strength in your weakness? How can this irony be possible to happen in one’s life? It has been a wise thought that weakness is an opportunity to find strength. It is normal that at times. weakness tends to surface in your life because we cannot be strong at all times as events come your way in variety. Nevertheless, it has been proven that God can release His power in your weak time. Yes, God can show His glorious power even in your weakest moment! Your weaknesses have a holy purpose when they are being submitted to God.
They actually challenge your self-reliance and remind you of your need for the greater strength that God can provide. Taking the life of Paul for instance, He proclaimed God’s strength in his weakness. When the people in Corinth accused him of being unimpressive, he did not boast of things that he accomplished to defend himself. Ironically, he had boasted in his weakness recognizing only the strength that God had provided him.
Finding strength in your weakness is a great challenge where you can practice to be strong when you are weak because God will definitely provide you the necessary strength so that you will not rely on your own but learn to rely on the power of God alone. Do not be dismayed then when you are at your weak point of life because that is a great chance for you to see the amazing power of God who can strengthen you all the while. Just bring such weaknesses in His courts and you will find yourself in awe of what He can do to you in such moment.
Let the desire of your heart be aligned to the Will of God. Let the Refiner refine your innermost being and let Him make you holy as He pleases. May God have His way in your life. The song entitled Refiner’s Fire is very highly recommended to you when you are having your devotion time with God.
Let us then remember that whatever we ask in the Name of Jesus and according to His Word, He will grant. Let the desire of your heart be the holiness that God wants to see in your life.
Obeying God Is Everyone’s Privilege. Have you observed that the more obedient you are in following God, the more odds are getting your way? Well, this case does not only happen to you but to almost everyone who is determined to really obey God. I, for one, has been experiencing adversity in life when i decided to follow Him. However, I am also determined to keep on with my walk in His light no matter what this life brings in my way. With the grace of God that has been abounding around me coupled with consistent prayer time every morning and night and bible reading, too, I am still standing on His Word and obeying His will.
Obeying God Is Everyone’s Privilege. The story of Moses in the bible has been inspiring me to keep my obedience on. God had instructed him to go to Pharaoh and tell him to free the Israelites. Actually, God had mentioned that He was going to give these people the freedom from the hands of Pharaoh through Moses. However, God had to harden the heart of Pharaoh in order to make more and grreater miracles to the people. At the Book of Exodus, we see that God was actually behind this hard heart of the king. Each plague and delay have been done with a purpose.
In this sense, I realized that God has a reason for everything He does. We encounter some delays and we complain not accepting the fact that the delays have been designed to bring greater glory to God and have been purposely made to be a lasting legacy of God’s miracle-working power not only for the current generation but for generations that will still come. In the story of Moses, we see that he eventually learned that God’s promises are all made to come to pass but in a different timing from ours. He always wants a greater glory than what we might be willing to give him. Another lesson is the perseverance and greater faith that would be developed through the obstacles and adversities that God allows to come in our lives. At the final step, God will be glorified as His promise will be fulfilled after a hard times of obeying His will. I have learned that it is worthy to demonstrate obedience even in the midst of adversity. Finally, I have realized that Obeying God Is Everyone’s Privilege.
Being born again: Its importance. First, it is important for us to know what does it mean to be Born Again. Here, we are referring to being born again by the Spirit of God. It is a very amazing and unmistakable work of God and is as mysterious as the wind. Actually, we do not know where does it begin and it hidden away in the very depth of our soul.
Being Born Again means being born again from above and it is considered as perpetual, enduring and eternal beginning. It brings a continual surprise of the life of God in a person’s life which provide freshness at all times. Freshness in talking, living and thinking every day. Jesus said at the gospel Book of John chapter 3 verse 3. “….Most assuredly, I say unto you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Thus, being born again is absolutely biblical and it must be experienced by everyone who professes to be Christ- believer.
Being born again of the Spirit means much more than we think. It practically gives us fresh vision and keeps us fresh for everything through the never-fading supply of the life of God in our lives. Call of God: What does it mean? This is one of the issues that many scholars could hardly explain to many people. We see a lot of successful professionals in the secular world who preferred to respond to the call of God and left their high status in the society. Many questioned them for such preference. Some understood and joined them in trusting God to make them succeed even when they are already doing things that God had assigned them to do for His purpose. I just want to share some ideas about the Call of God for I myself had also encountered a lot of things before responding to His call in my lie. I have been working with a white collar job for eleven years and it had been taken me so long to trust the call of God then. In my days off, I tried to do some work in His vineyard but it was not enough because I had more days spent in my secular job than in my work even if I considered that such job was also given by God where I could also fulfill His call to my life. However, it is still a different thing to be in a place where I am not disturbed by anything in serving Him. When I was in my secular job, I could hardly attend to many seminars and workshop I wished I could attend to because my priority then was my performance in the workplace. I came to the point that I really deeply longed to go to the ministerial field even weekdays. At the same time, I was then asking God for a special gift- a child. Thus, the need for me to resign form my work came to pass.
The call of God has been working in me even when I was still in the secular workplace. He used my job as a testing ground and a stair for personal and spiritual growth. One thing I had learned about the call of God was that I should have an idea about the nature of the One who is calling. Many calls everyday. Some calls are being answered while others will not even be heard. So, we must have the nature of Him who has been calling. The Call is an expression of the nature of the One who calls and it can only be recognized by the person who has the same nature in him or her.
Call of God is actually the nature of God and not ours. Thus, the deals on the call must be exclusively between God and the person. It is not a reflection of our nature which further means that our desires and temperament are of no consideration. To hear the call, we must sincerely have a right relationship with our God. We must also remember that when God places us in a place where the call is being revealed, we will be profoundly changed.

Knowing Jesus personally is not done automatically.I believe that you already have heard about Jesus Christ but you never have known Him personally yet. Here are some significant ways to lead you know Him. Before you can really have an intimate encounter with Jesus, you have to learn some basic truths about God and yourself.
First, you have to believe that God loves you. As said in the book of John Chapter 3 verse 16, ” For God so loved the world that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. God loves you and He actually had originally created a world of peace and life for you.
Secondly, You have to know that every human being has been separated from God. As seen in the bible scene where Adam and Eve had disobeyed God and went on their own way. This case had created a gap between God and man like you and I. This is the separation which has been known as Sin. In this way, human beings became unable to get near to God by themselves. You have to accept that good thoughts and good deeds will ever fail to bridge the said gap. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and come short of thew glory of God”. We are then so far from our Creator.
Thirdly, I guess that you will rejoice to get informed that God had made a remedy. Actually, He offers this way to everyone . God sent His only begotten Son to bridge the gap of separation. Of course, God is so loving that He cannot afford to see you in distress and in need. So, Knowing Jesus personally as Someone who took our sins on Himself, shed His blood and died in our place. Know Him as both God and man wherein He provides the way of access between God and man. John 14:6 goes this way, ” Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can cometh unto the Father but by me”.
You will now finally come into Knowing Jesus personally when you invite Him personally into your life. You have to receive Jesus into your heart and life, at large,by faith, so that you will be able to cross the bridge to God and lead a new life with and in Him. You may try to prayerfully ask Him now to come into your life and be your Lord and Saviour. In the book of John 1:12, you will find a great truth: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,e ven to them that believe on his name”.
